66 narrow case 250 scrambler (ex barry higgins ?)

Hi guys,
I've just bought a 66 250 scrambler, narrow case and supposedly once owned / bought to the uk by Barry higgins (He of ama hall of fame I believe).
The bike is running and rideable, just very tatty, and set up for scrambles use.
It has its standard frame, rear wheel, exhaust, with different seat, alloy tank, forks (cerianis I think) and larger front brake hub.
I would welcome any info at all about Barry or the bike.
I don't think he competed on it in the USA (not sure he rode it here in uk either), but if he did, please let me know.
