Sprocket size?

Post by cafe*racer »

My new project 250 NC Monza was slightly modified for off road with 3.52 ratio (17/60 sprockets.) I will be using it on the road as an all around fun ride, mild performance upgrades but nothing serious. Can't seem to find any specs on baseline gearing. I understand the basic theory but have no experience with this model and its performance. I will be using stock 18 inch wheel and tire size. Please help. Jordan

My 250 Diana runs really nicely on 17/45, which I find as a good starting point for 250/350 bikes.

Thanks Chris, that seems like a good place to start. I have a parts book now unfortunately its not very clear as to application.
