How many 200 motocrossers are really out there?

Post by gboblebeef »

So as an owner of two, I seriously doubt that the total production numbers are as low as many people say. I have heard numbers from 30 to 50, but am calling BS. Anybody have factual info? Anybody have an extra set of fenders?

200 motocross

Hey Gary, I've wondered myself about this question. Maybe contact Frank Scurria (you can find his e-mail by searching the bevel heaven site), Seth Doerfler (http://motoitalianony.com), Chris Quinn (I think I gave you his contact info). I also remember a posting on the ducati.ms vintage forum under "Berliner Motor Corporation history", a member who went by "bevel450" posted that "lots of Berliner guys still out there...". These are the people who would know, though a 200 motocross is going way back. Walter von Schonfeld was the PR guy for Berliner in the '60's and Jonathan White would be a resource as well though I don't know how to contact either. Also maybe contact the No Cal Ducati vintage club http://www.ducativintageclub.com. Ciao, Matt W
