I have a Mototrans 350, and I care more about reliability than originality: I actually ride the thing. Anyone have experience with an electronic ignition for these singles? I'm a newbie. Thx.

I got one installed in my 200 élite. It works great at the moment. Advantages: no battery problems afther days or months into the garage and forget contact points mateinance. Furthermore: avoid a broken regulator every time you do something wrong as start having the battery disconnected.

I also have a Mototrans 350. I don't ride it a lot, but I have not had to touch the electronic ignition in the three years I have owned it. The bike is hard to start when cold, but fires on the first kick once it is warm.
