250 n/c top end rebuid

Post by richied46z »

Hi guys, I'm rebuiding a 250 n/c. The rings were stuck, the the piston and bore seem ok. It has a 74.6 Borgo(sp) piston. Were can I get rings for it? And what shop do you recomend I buy parts from? I need the usual stuff to get this little gem back on the road. The crank looks to have been rebuilt already and seems tight.

E Bay seller gio655 has 74.6 piston rings listed on his website

the differend type Borgo pistons ( forged or cast ) have differend hight pistonrings so measure your rings before you order
the cast pistons have 2 oilcontrol rings where the forged pistons have one

Domi-racer

I talked to Kevin at Domi-racer yesterday and they had the rings I needed. I'm rebuilding two customer engines and I needed 74.6 and 75.0 piston rings. They also had the 31.5 fork seals I needed.
BTW Steve I checked your e-store and I will be buying one of your batteries and more than a few of those rubber parts.
Rich- up to my knees with Ducati single rebuilds.
