Montjuich swing arm spacers

Post by horst »

I want to fit a original verlicchi rear swingarm to my
750F1. Got all parts but the spacers.

What I've fit so far:
front sprocket, Montjuich, large offset
rear wheel: Marvic/AKront: 4.24x16"
swing arm: Montjuich, Verlicchi

thanks,
horst

Do you need the spacers at the front of the swingarm or at the wheel? The front spacers are common to all of the Pantah bikes, and are approx. 2mm thick. I believe the same holds true with the rear wheel spacers as the rear hub width is the same on the bikes of that era. The manuals section here on this site have the F1 parts and service books on line and gives the part numbers that might still be available.
You could also visit the ttand f1 forum for more info on your bike.

Hi wdietz,
the shims at the motor/swing arm are still available, at least as standard parts.

The adjusting washers at the wheel/ swing arm are not available anymore
from Ducati. Remenber Ducati was at that time more dead than alive and
parts from that era are rare as hens teeth.

I have measured a thickness of 16mm on the right and 10mm on the left
side for the washers. Will have a try on the lathe next week and check if
the chain gives an Ok.

ciao,
horst
