Does anybody have a clear understanding of what is required to convert an 81' 500 Pantah to 650cc? I know the rods are the same, however I don't have 650 pieces to measure in order to figure out if the cylinder length and pin placement work out? Also, not sure of the cases will need boring for the 650 cylinders.

I have been told to just swap for a complete 650 engine, but mine already has head work and other changes that I would rather not repeat - unless the 650 head flows better?
