82mm Piston Source

Post by darnold »

Any one know where I can find old stock pistons and rings for a 650 Patah motor?

I know that JE Pistons will make me 4 as a custom order, if anyone else is interested in a pair we could try this.

don't know if you are still looking, but i would be interested -- provided they will match stock pistons for a 650 Pantah engine (Alazzurra)
1977 500GTL (restored)
1980 Darmah 900SS (being restored)
1986 Alazzurra 650SS
1986 Alazzurra 650SS (project renov)
1986 Elefant 650 (needs work..)
1995 900SS SP #591
1996 600SS
1998 900SS FE
2005 Monster S2R (on my third tank...)

By chance I came back and someone finally posted a reply!

I found a pair of surplus 82mm 11:1 pistons at ferracci. They came wrapped in newspaper from 1992. I later confirmed that they were made by JE Pistons so I lucked out with those.

In mean time someone else posted information about Deves who can supply new 82mm piston rings. www.deves.com

So I have a set of stock 82mm pistons that are in really excellent condition, if you want them let know by email at [email protected].
