F1 Wheel Conversion

Post by Cagivaduc »

Has anybody updated their F1 wheels with something lighter and with better brakes from a 90's 900SS or Monster?

I have some 300mm full floating BREMBO rotors that are bolt on replacments - of course you also need to add the brake adpaters and 4 pot brembo calipers..... I stock all the parts needed including 916 and 996 style gold BREMBO remote resv master cylinders......... THis will make it possible to literally stand the bike on its nose.

A lot of it depends on your chain line. If you have the big cases (full flow oil cooler, fine splines on the counter shaft) with the aluminum swing arm then it's possible to put modern size wheels on.

It picked up these wheels in Japan. They are spec'd for the montjuich.
