Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I have not figured out an easy way to remove the front tire, and thought about asking if there is a better way.
The way I do it is by removing the front fender first in order to free-up the caliper pipes and therefore the calipers. This creates the space between both calipers to pull the wheel down. Dismounting and mounting the fender is a PIA.
Is there an easier way? I thought about freeing up the calipers and open slightly the pipes, but I don't want to bend them.
Thanks.

IME, it's always easier if you take the calipers off.
(If you do this, don't let them hang by their hoses. Get a piece of string, thread it thru one of the bolt holes and then tie it off somewhere convenient).
