Hi all
Am (finally ..) getting round to replacing the head bearings on my SSD and I see in the parts book there should be this washer, located underneath the top fork clamp and on top of the bearing adjuster ring ...
Well ...
a) I ain't got one.
b) I'm mystified as to its purpose.
Anyone got any views or observations?
P.s and edit:
I'm wondering whether it's no more than a (rare) drawing fault, and that the washer is in fact meant to go on top, not below, the clamp, underneath the top nut. Which is where it is now ... And which makes sense.
Also, that's how it's shown on my Laverda parts diagram for the self same Marzocchi set up ...
But comments still welcome!
TIA
Craig

Thanks. It's gotta be a drawing error ...
