How much oil have I to put in the Marzochi (38 mmm) of my Darmah ' 78?
I am confused. Mike Walker says 210 cc: Ian Fallon says 185 cc. In the Owners Manual says 180 cc.
How much is the correct quantity?
Amount oil for Marzochi
I used to use the manual stated 220cc in the Ceranis on my Laverda,
it works much better using the measurement method which ended up being much more, approx 340cc, the measurement I used was 120mm
from the top of the fork, with the spring out and the forks bottomed,
put it on the centrestand and push up both legs and prop them up fully bottomed with the springs out,top the forks up with oil , pump them a bit to remove any air then set the level by sucking the extra out with a turkey
baster marked to the required level.Got to go the supers are on.
