1967 Monza fork removal

Okay so this is where I'm to, I needed to take off my front forks so I checked my owners manual and followed all the instructions to remove them. I got one side off (the left hand/clutch side) with no problems, but the right side (throttle side) is killing me, it isn't even budging. I don't know if there is a trick to this or something I might be missing but help would be greatly appreciated! (I was hoping to have these forks done and back on by early next week)
