Missing hydraulic bump stop

I'm refurbishing a set of 1980's 38mm Marzocci forks; unfortunately both legs are missing the hydraulic bump stops, also described as top hat bush. Does anyone know where I could buy a pair? Alternatively, could somebody give me the dimensions & material so that I could machine a pair up.
Thanks.

Can you just identify on this drawing which part you're referring to, Kerrin?

Hi Craig.
It's number 39. Those are pretty much the forks I have, but rumor has it mine originally came off a Norton rotary so I couln't be too sure of their vintage.

(Blimey, that's a weird piece to be missing ... )

Err, mine are safely installed where they should be, so I can't tell you what the dims are ;) . To try and find a pair, try sending a pm to Steve Allen; or maybe someone like Wolfgang Haerter in Canada, or Ian Gowanloch in Oz. Which country are you in?

Hi Craig.
I thought it was weird as well but the forks were in one piece & had obviously been used in that condition. A friend bought a container of rotary spares from the factory about 15 (?) years ago, kept all the Norton specific items & sold the generic brakes, suspension, etc. I believe that the factory used Marzocchi suspension on prototypes in the mid to late 80's so a development engineer probably threw my bump stops away 30 years ago. I live in the UK, next step is to contact Mdina Italia & Brancato.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Kerrin,

Also try Maxtons. They do valve conversions on Marzocchis, so may be able to help.

And Keith Nairn at Laverda Scozia - he knows his stuff ...
