GTS exhaust problems

The stainless cross pipe on my GTS appears to sit too low and fouls the rear brake crossover shaft , is it likely that i can get the stainless header pipes bent up a bit and shortened by 20mm or so which will allow me to clear the silencers and bring the silencer mountings to meet the footrest points??, Bending used stainless pipes?.Silencers are cheapo conti lookalikes.My records show the pipes were ordered as Darmah, I am going to cut and mitre them and find a welder good with stainless.
