Shock Nut colour on the 750 S

Gday, im rezincing the nuts and bolts on my 750 Sport [ 1973 ]. The rear shock nylock nuts look a gold colour while the bolts and washers look the normal zinc colour ???? Is this correct. Thanks Gum

Gum, all the hardware on my GT and all the other bevels I've seen and uncrated have has the normal cad plated hardware.Some nut and bolt suppliers use different colors on different thread pitches to make it easier to identify what you are picking up. After 30 or so years it would be very unusual to find all the original hardware still on the machine.
