Marzocchi Forks

Post by MartinMille BANNED »

I went through some of my spare stuff today and I discovered that I have two different types of Marzocchi Forks

The none painted is your everyday run of the mill fork but what are these other ones off???
As you can see the fork body is longer than the std fork also the caliper mounts are totally different as well both mount the F08 calipers

Anyone tell me what they are off, year or model ?

I'll take a stab at it. The Mille MHR and Mille S2 models had Marzocchi forks with mudguard support lugs that are similar to the black ones in your photo. There is an illustration in Ian Falloon's Ducati Twins Restoration Guide, page 174.

So they are MHR legs
Kinda make sense now, as I also have the wheel and discs to suit , I allways wondered what the discs where of as well as they are different to what is on my MHR Mille

Thanks for finding that out and clearing a few things up for me
Cheers Mate
