35mm to 32mm fork - '65 250

Hey all,

As part of my quest to convert the front of my '65 250 to discs, I've been able to find a great 32mm Marzocchi ready to accept a single disc setup. What do you guys think about going shorter, and therefore slightly lower the front of the bike? How do you think that will impact steering geometry and therefore handling?
