Hello i am new in this forum.
I have a question, on my 900SS from 1976 the DGM number is not present. The frame have only DGM _ _ _ _ _ OM. Anyone have images or informations about missing DGM numbers on Ducatis? Especially on early frames. Why Ducati have not marked all bikes with DGM numbers?

Not sure...but I thought I had seen something on this forum about some of the race bikes not having chassis numbers

Can't help either about the frame except that it may well not be original and only a Verlicchi after market. Where in Italy are you? I am in Treviso

Hello Rick, my frame is not complete without frame numbers, on it, is impressed the DM860SS and the frame number, only the DGM number is not present (blank). Why?
In the data index "Square case motor frame numbers" ar listet other bikes with DGM no number OM.

Hello 74-750SS
I am from Bolzano. Is this really a Verlicchi? The DM860SS and frame number are present. When you look the "Motociclismo" of 02/1980 the MHR 900 test, and you zoom the image of the frame you can see the second line of DGM look blank, and this is really a original bike.

Not sure about the frame it was just a thought. We are planning a huge Ducati event at the motoclub Pompone in Treviso for september. Unbedingt dabei sein. Non da perdere (for those not in Italy the friendly people from Bolzano frequently prefer to speak german, hence a message in german and italian)
