350 wide case scrambler swing arm axel

so i just got a scrambler frame and no swing arm axel. found some on line, and was wondering are they all the same size and length? the swing arm i have is the one that goes inside the frame. the locking bolts are on the frame not the swing arm.

the diameter is 29 mm . same as most beveltwins
but a widecase swingarm pin is about 26 cm long
a beveltwin is 30 cm
a narrowcrankcase pin is shorter

should i just have a machine shop make me one?
what grade of steel should i use? and inner diameter?
