Ducati diesel

Post by Lumpy »

Have`nt put photo`s up before so not sure how it will go..............but if it works........here`s some photo`s of a Ducati diesel marine engine and transmission. It`s twin cylinder, air cooled, 864cc and 22hp of stampeding steel for your favorite vessel. Wonder if it`s desmo? Anyhow if these pictures don`t stick you can have a look at http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/safety-b ... 1110479177

Since it's a marine engine, water will have washed away most of the decals.
It's a 284 (2 cylinders, 84 bore) aircooled diesel. NO desmo
Basically the same as a IS22 but with the clutch and reverse transmission fitted.
Getting scarce, even in Italy.
I've got some indo on them if needed.

Sorry I can`t get any more info on this. I found it on gumtree for sale while trawling for bevel bits. Caught my eye as this is the first I knew they had a go at diesels.
