Dell'Orto phm40 60/1 slider questions??

Post by 78ducati »

Can anyone explain me the numbers on the slide? I need to get new sliders for my PHM40 carbies, but need to get an understanding of the numbers, is 60/1 /2 /3 etc or 50/1 are those number in relation to the pump ramp? height and when to pump acceleration? can I make 50/1 a 60/1 with filling or grinding, or is it the opposite, in other words if I get 50/1 or 60/1 which of the 2 is more customizable?

Cheers...

60/70,etc is the cutaway. Dash-1,dash 2,etc is the pump ramp timing. A 60-1 slide is the way to go for your bike, with the set screw for the pump adjusted to 5cc per 20 squirts.
