I've got a stock 350 Sebring w/ UB 24 dellorto. I'm having hard starting issues and she wants to stall when being driven. A lot of spitting, poping and surging and finally stalling. I can get a fairly smooth idle but thats about it. I've got good spark, new plug, timing is accurate, Carb is clean, float seems to move freely in the bowl, new seals on the carb.
There only seems to be so much adjusting that can be done with this carb.
I don't get it! Is there a good alternative to this carb?
Thanks a lot,
Kyle

this is a new technology phbh30 carb and works on singles as-is. You maight have to find an intake manifold if your bike as the style carb that bolts onto the head. I have sold many of these things to racers as well as guys with street bikes - they work well.

I'm running a 28mm Mikuni I took off an old Triumph desert sled on my Sebring. Never touched the jetting. She starts easily and puts out noticeably more power than the stock carb. 30mm Amals from Triumph/BSA also work well.
You might also want to check the fuel flow from your petcocks and disassemble and clean them if the flow is poor.
I've also been running the stock points for the past ten years with no trouble whatsover--she idles fine, too.

From probably the only person in the world who rides a Ducati 350 Sebring for daily transportation.
