This is an awesome way to show off our bevels, as well as see some other rare bikes. And of course ride while looking awesome.

I've joined up for this also.
I'll be riding my Hailwood replica around Frankfurt town center on Sunday 29th September morning . . .

A very good cause and a nice riding event.

here's my page where you can sponsor me- that is what it's all about : )

Or you can join up yourselves- it looks like there are around 150 rides around the world, if there's not one in your area- you can start one.

all the best
Ian

I'll be there in perth Australia with half a dozen bevels at least. The challenge isn't the bike. I need to buy a suit!

Anyone else participating in the Sydney DGR? Keep and eye out for a silver 860GT with a dapper gent riding it if you do!

Suit up!

I'll certainly try crankcase. Of course, if I find him, I will have to lay s^&t on him for riding a belt.

here are a couple of pics of the Frankfurt do- up to 19 distinguished gentlemen and ladies from 2 last year, which means if there are 10 times more people next year- we'll have around 200 taking part : )

Image
meeting up for the start in Schweizer Platz in Sachsenhausen.

Image

Image
after the first stop to check everybody was still there and the coffee stop- it just has to be when everybody is riding Cafe racers, we stopped at the Senckenberg museum for pics with the dinosaurs.

Image
With the Messe tower in the background.

Image

Image
Lots of interest from passers by when we parked up in front of the opera house.

Image
and that was it for 2013. Everybody taking their sepaarte ways and determined to keep in touch, and of course come back for next years ride.

And the best part is- it's all for a good cause, it would be difficult to not join in.
all the best
Ian

This was me at one of the stops on the Atlanta, GA, USA ride. I had the only bevel there and I'm pretty sure no one really knew what they were seeing.
