72 750GT Cafe Racer

Post by FredFrenzy »

I finished this a few years ago, now has 10K miles on the rebuild. I thought I'd published pics on the BevelHeaven forum, but I guess not...

Not meant to be a restore but a tastefull cafe racer and a rider.... The engine is now a 860cc 70hp kit from Karl at MMS in Sacramento. I spend most of my riding time in the Santa Cruz, Ca. mountains and the Central Coast.

Some pics here in a Yahoo photo album...hit slideshow to see the rest.

Barry,
That is one SWEET bike. I would love to own it! Bet it is a blast in the mountains...

It is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"....

Tim,
Yeah it's great in the twisties here - lots of usable torque (and a great sound). I've had some Sport Bike guys come up after follwoing me on a run down Bonny Doon Road to Davenport and say "We were wondering who that fast guy was on those skinny tires"
