I've just finished rebuilding it.

I made the mistake of dropping my bike last year, so it’s been out of action for a while. I had to strip all the bodywork off and repair and paint it, make some new foot pegs and controls and change the left crank case cover. I thought I would take the opportunity to give the engine a freshen up and fit new pistons, rings and seals throughout. I also had a couple of desmo heads in the workshop so I thought I would throw them on too. This required me to alter the manifold stud spacing so my 40mm carbs and manifolds would fit. I also took the opportunity to rebuild the forks, get rid of the front guard studs and fit bolts and change the forks around so the callipers are on the other side, as is the modern convention.
It used to be all red, but now it has black with red pearl bodywork and the frame hasn’t changed. The motor was silver, but I changed it to black, as I thought it would look better. It still needs some more tidying up, but at least it is ridable now.
