Hi Folks,
Thought I would share a few pics of the bike. I recently put new valves in, new venolia high compression sport pistons, rebuilt the carbs, revamped the electrics. She pulls amazingly now. Over the winter I plan to move the ignition switch to the front of the bike using an appropriate relay. The current position of the ignition interferes with the choke cable of the carb for the vertical cylinder. Anyone else have this issue, or could my manifold be the wrong type?

G'day Bern,
What carbys are you running?
My GT has a modified engine and 32mm Dels but has no problem with choke.

Thanks Bern. Do you know if they were the the same weight as the Sport pistons or were they made to match the GT piston's weight?

Hi Steve,
The weight was about 3 grams heavier than the sport pistons and the wrist pins were stock 22mm. The guy who did the machining of the head said I wouldn't need to balance the crank after comparing them to my stock GT pistons. The pistons were first oversize 80.4. I wish I took a few pics before I assembled the engine. They sure were pretty. :-)
This is the issue I'm having with the rear carb. My thought is it's a horizontal cylinder manifold.
