Update...
Wheels back,Forks and triple clamps powdercoated,
Frame, swingarm, stand painted and just a hint BMW silver is not the right colour! So we've had 2 go's at it and now it looks great.
All the fairings etc ready for paint.
Still going through the usual dramas with chroming(there idea of good is my opinion of crap)The zinc platers are the same and then they lose the fork drain screws.
Motor is ready to go back into frame.
On budget

Been a while since this resto thread was started, so here is an update.
In between booze, broads, aquiring more Bevels, repairing damaged 1098's and building a new house, the SS finally came home for a bit more loving.
What started out as a quick tidy up has turned into a full nut and bolt rebuild, nothing has gone back on it unless it is, new, painted, re-zinced, re-chromed,reconditioned, polished or stainless. I will let the photos form the description

Budget, now there is a bad word that should have never been used in conjuntion with rebuilding a Bevel drive Ducati

Spectacular resto....

Agreed, budget and a bevel should never be used in the same sentence. :*<:
