Here's a few pics of my next single project....A pretty much unmolested with preservation task rather than a shiny restoration....
The plan is an engine rebuild, forks, brakes, rear suspension and a wash. Amazingly, the original electrics still work!!

Re: 175 Sport preservation project
Unfortunately Steve, on this occasion, my fun on this project will have to be had vicareously. After a few years of keeping my eyes open for a 175 Sport suitable for an oily rag restoration, not surprisingly, I found it in its homeland. I plan to use it in the 2015 Moto Giro d'Italia if the route looks attractive, so it made no sense to ship it back to Australia only to ship it back for the Giro. So it is being prepared by a trusted party in the UK at the moment.
I'm keen to keep it as it is as much as possible, including the "lumps and bumps" as I am only it's second ever owner and every scratch and dent has it's own story to tell. I also got all the original paperwork which makes quite interesting reading.
The overall condition of it and all it's components is quite extraordinary for it's age, and reflective of the love that was lavished on it by it's original owner.
I hope to do it justice.
