Using Brembo P108 for Scarab caliper

Steve-
I bought the P108 listed as a replacement for the Scarab caliper for my 1973 750GT. It bolts up fine but the Scarab caliper had the attachment for the hose at the top, but the Brembo has it on the side. Ah..am I suppose to rig some kind of special fitting to use this?
