GT860 front brake master cylinder rebuild

I'm just about to rebuild the front brake master cylinder from a Ducati GT860.
The new kit has two lipped brake seals like the one that is nearest the brake lever on the original arrangement. The original layout had only one lipped brake seal near the brake lever & an o ring seal at the spring end of the brake plunger. Which way round does the lipped brake seal go at the spring end of the plunger? Same as the top or the other way round?
Or have I been sent an incorrect rebuild kit & need an o ring seal at the brake plunger spring end?
Also the original plunger had two small holes drilled in the end that fed brake fluid into the groove where the bottom o ring seal was installed. The new plunger has no holes at all.
Is this an upgraded plunger arrangement, or are the holes missing?
