Can you suggest me a pair of good tyres for my 1977 900 SS?
Original spoke wheels (Borrani 4777 rims) are installed.
I would find tyres with old disegn.
On the papers of my bike I see front 3,50 H18, rear 120/90 - 4,70 H18. I want stay in that sizes.

I'm happy with the Pirelli Sport Demons on my '79 SS converted to Borrani rims. Not old style tires but then I ride the bike rather than look at it.

Thank you Bruce.
I verified better and probably the size 4,70 H 18 for rear is wrong. The correct is 4.00 H18.
I have found many 4.00 H18 tyres with old design. Metzeler ME77 Perfect, Continental K112 and Metzeler Block C.
The problem is to find a 3.50 H18 front tyre.
All the tyres I found are S18 (speed till 180 km/h). This is not enought. It is dangerous and forbidden by italian laws. I must install a tyre with H speed code.
The tyres in millimeters have correct speed code, but they all have modern design. I don't want modern design on my tyres. Unfortunately also Pirelli Sport Demons have modern design.

These are H rated and very inexpensive tires

Thank you Steve.
I don't find the IRC GS-11 in these sizes:
Front 3.50 18
Rear 4.00 18
I am afraid that shipping to Italy will cost a lot...
What about Bridgestone BT 45 Batlax?

The BT45 tires are highly regarded by the Laverda community as offering good grip and lasting fairly long. The tread patterns are close enough to being considered period for 70's era bikes. The V rated are the tires you want.

Many thanks.
I finally bought one pair of Bridgestone BT 45 .
The design is not very vintage, but they probably will give good performances.

I have the Sport Demons on my Mille MHR as well.
Don't like to see "Made in Japan" on my bike...

Use Bridgestone Spitfires on my 750 GT & Guzzi Loop frame. Love 'em.
