under slung rear caliper

Post by big phil »

hi
quite some time ago you, steve, had some pics of your bike where you mounted the rear calliper under the swing arm. I am about to do this to accommodate a reservoir rear shock without having to flip it. Are there, or i chould say, were ther any detraments to setting up this way apart from the bleeding hassles?

yeah, I could not keep the center stand on as it would hit the caliper..

what about simply reversing the original bracket? i have done it and it fits but not fitted the lines or ridden the bike yet.
