Marvic wheels

I have a 1993 Superlight with the Marvic two piece alloy wheels. I have tried a number of products to clean the wheels and bring them to life, but they continue to look tired and in need of cleaning. Any suggestions on how to get the wheels to look as good as the rest of the bike?
