Avon AM26 sizing

Post by bobnorton »

I notice that the Avon site recommends 110/90 rear for my 76 GTS ,most other sources say 120/90, Dont want to make steering heavy so will go for smaller with possibly 90/90 front if availiable, any thoughts anyone?

Yes you are thinking correct, but either will work. You will have 2.15 rims on your bike. 100/90 front and 120/90 rear will indeed work, but, the tires are slightly heavier and steering will be slightly slower as compared to a 90/90 F and 100/90 R which I think you will be very happy with.

* We have AM26 currently at $244 a pair delivered to lower 48 states

Thanks Steve, I'm probably going to go 100/90 f and 110/90 rear if that makes sense, the wifes put on a bit extra weight,(dont they all!).
