The best stuff I have seen for triples & fork legs is a paint made by (hushed voice) Harley Davidson.
They do a couple of different paints but they had one called Texture Black that was almost perfect. I compared with new Marzocchi parts when finished & was real happy.
It was available through genuine Harley outlets.
It sticks real well & is hard wearing also. Not cheap but there isnt a lot to cover per bike either.

Good info Dave.

Do you need to do a base coat and then spatter another coat over the top or just spray it on normaly?

Steve,
I know this is a Ducati forum but the brembo brakes that I anodised were on a Lav. I am not sure if I am getting this picture stuff right
