Disc brake conversion - '65 250

Post by 65bayracer »

Hey all -

New to the forum and new to Ducatis...have been riding a '63 BMW R69S and am now making my way over to the singles.

Anyhow - I just picked up a '65 250 that started life as a Scrambler. One of the many many things I'd like to do to the bike is add some Brembos (along with new hubs, sprockets, etc). I'm not too fussed about having to replace the entire wheel sets as they probably need it anyhow - but am curious if any of you have done this before, have some words of wisdom, and what the results were.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
ak

good luck
youll need a new front end-and then get it to fit
way to hard and expensive
youd be be better off
rebuilding the drum and spending the money on other things

cheers steve
