ive relaced my borranis with new spokes-professional truing or diy-this is my dilemna

That depends. Think about what you have the more of, time or money.? If its time you can do it your self and if its money you pay someone to do it for you. To do it your self you should have measured the offset between the rim and the hub on both sides or at least on the drive side of the hub for the rear wheel, before pulling them apart, you will need a support jig. At least one if not two dial indicators to check the rim run out in both vertical and horizontal planes. a straight edge and vernia to check rim to hub offsets. .Check Hoppers xl forum, has a good spill on how he did his wheels. When you live in the mioddle of nowhere like i do, you do it your self, but if you live in a city and have wheel builder on hand i would get them to do it
