A '74 750 GT didn't have dual disks from the factory so there is no correct way to do it... whatever works best for routing the lines should be fine.

My '74 doesn't even have the threaded holes on the triple to mount a splitter. It has the bosses if I remember right, but they aren't drilled/tapped.

Hi Gerard,

your question is not so easily answered. It depends if you have a GT until around mid 1974 with Scarab brakes or a GT with Brembo brakes.
Also it matters for the Scarab (or earlier Lockheed) brakes, whether you have the European or American version.
On the European versions with Scarab brakes, there was a splitter originally for the brake switch with two smaller hoses (on the American versions usually was no splitter, but a one-piece longer hose) - so, to add the second caliper, you just have to take the longer hollow screw and fix the two hoses on the splitter - this is how it worked on the Sport, which often has been equipped with the twin discs. On the other hand, you need to be cautious to have the twin master cylinder, which is rare to find. All other parts for the Scarab brakes are quite easy to find (I can help you there). If you have the Brembo brakes, you can just take the splitter and all hoses and fittings from a 860 GT or GTS, which is exactly the same. I can send you pictures of both systems, if you want, just contact me.

Hi Gerard,
A friend of mine has a 74 GT. I will check with him to see if he has a splitter that I can get a pic of.
