is there a source for an aftermarket brakelight wiring kit for my 64 diana that anyone knows of? or is it possible to wire in one from a second hand bike that came equiped with it from the factory? there is no battery, just magneto.

All you need is a brake light switch and the tail/brake light. If you don't have one now, there may not be a bracket on the frame to hold a rear brake switch. That would be an impediment. The OEM rear brake switch sells for upwards of $40 US on eBay now as well.
