Working on a 250 Diana and I need a new magneto (3 wire) wire and spark plug wire. Anyone know where to find some that look like the original type? Or is a complete wiring harness an option? Doesn't look like there is much to it since no alternator & battery.
Thanks

Re: OEM type wiring
Hi J,
I'm a twins guy so I'm not completely familiar with the wiring requirements on your Diana.
What color is your original plug wire? All that I have come across are black. The parts diagrams indicate a two wire cable from the generator.
There is this from Classic Ducati and you might contact them regarding your needs. I think they may have a complete harness as well.

And this from Mdina Italia. Also comes in green.

Sorry can't be more help. All of the restorations I have seen have a black plug wire. Should be easy enough to replicate.
Why don't you have generator and a battery? Is your engine out of a Scrambler?
Hope this helps,
Dean

Re: OEM type wiring
Thanks Dean, the Diana engine was I believe the same as a scrambler, no battery just magneto. I'll check out the links.
