Pantah starting woes.

Post by pman »

Anyone,

I've got an '82 Pantah 600SL which is getting progressively harder to start. Starter spins up engine well. Engine is strong with good comp etc. She fires up a treat with a good push start. I've noticed that when she does fire with the starter, it's generally once I release the button. I've heard these drain too much power with the starter leaving insufficient at the plugs while turning. Anyone know if this is a common problem, and, if so, any fixes with re-wiring, relays etc ?

Cheers
