Removing Jod lens from headlight...

Everyone says Acetone but I tried it and the Jod lens broke... Lucky is was cracked so no prob and the bucket can now be re-silvered. Has anyone successfully removed a glass? Any tips would be great. Thanks, J

I'm just resurrecting this old thread in case anyone else has the same issue.
I had to remove my Jod Duplo lens so the reflector could be re silvered.
I used a thin scraper/blade to remove as much adhesive as possible from the gap between the glass and the edge of the reflector. (Very Careful!)
The whole unit then went into the oven at 160 degrees Celsius (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit) for about half an hour.
The glass practically fell out, leaving traces of dried out adhesive on the glass which cleaned off easily.
