Does anyone think these coils are ok to run as a replacement to the stock coils on a roundcase? I'm going to guess its a no go, since 5 ohm coils are recomended, 3 ohm for racing. They are just compact and i have several of them sitting on my shelf.

Can MSD coils be used?

No you can't use those coils on a point ignition. That type for coil needs an electronic control to limit the primary current, to about 4amps. If you used them, the primary current would be, 12V/0.2ohms equals 60amps, or almost a complete short. It would fry the wiring.
