P V L Coils

I have mounted 12volt PVL coils on my GT and I am about to install
a new Dyna S ignition, I fried the leads on my old Dyna at the module
plate.
Any one had any kind of probs with this set up ??
the coils are oil filled and rated at 3.8 ohms primary and 5.5k secondary
resistance.
any need for a ballast resistor with this setup ???

No ballast required.
