860 GT Fuse Box

Post by duckdude »

I have owned my 1975 860 GT since the late 70's. The bike suits me well and I have gotten over or solved most of it's idoisyncrasies. This includes keeping the electrical system operational. However, as this bike passes into it's 30's, I have decided that the original fuse box has to go. Does anyone have a suggestion on a replacement that has worked well ?

I completely rewired my 750 GT when I rebuilt the bike. Ditched all the stock electrics and went with a fuse box off a Honda VFR1000(?) VF1000? I don't know, something like that.

A lot of guys are using generic blade-type fuse boxes from various suppliers. I like the Honda part because it took very little modification to fit in the stock position.
