Front indicators not flashing - MHR

Hello,

I have just replaced the fairing on my 1980 MHR with one from a 900ss - so I can see the engine... I have replaced the front indicators with aftermarket ones which have been screwed into the front headlamp support bracket a la 900ss style.

But - the flashers were flashing (the original ones on the full fairing) however the new ones light up but stay on ie dont flash..

Any suggestions or ideas???

Hi Alan, I did the same on my 82 MHR. Not sure of the problem but check the wiring maybe the wrong way around.

Make sure all the indicator bulbs are the same voltage and wattage. The flasher relay normally uses the bulbs to determine the flashing rate.
The fact that the bulbs illuminate means that you have power going to them and that they are properly grounded.
