WTB: Darmah 900

Post by BultacoConvert »

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and I'm looking to buy a bevel drive ducati to fill the gap between my 848 and bultaco metralla. Of course I like the SS and MHR but I think the Darmah is the best model in my price range ($7k - 10k). I'm hoping to find a mostly stock bike I can ride and enjoy, not necessarily a show winner. Don't mind if it needs work but if its ready to go, that's good too. I'm in Atlanta and willing to drive a ways. Let me know if you have a Darmah that needs a new home!
Thanks
Craig

Hi guys
I found a 78 Darmah on Craigslist out west and had it shipped here to Atlanta. Thanks to Steve @ Bevel Heaven for making the arrangements. The bike is complete and stock except for the conti mufflers and PHM40 carbs. Some typical vintage bike probs so far like a little rust in the tank and some cleaning to do, but not bad at all. Got a little surprise when I checked the engine oil. Loosened the filler cap and oil spilled out all over the floor because it was overfilled. Anyway it should be on the road shortly and I expect to have a lot of fun with it. Thanks for the leads and info
