Hailwood replica: WTB

Post by Ricardito »

Fellow Ducatisti,
Having just joined this forum, I'm a real newby who is hoping to learn about the Hailwood replica bikes and be able to find one to buy with your help, advice and good will. I live near Denver, CO, and--of course--would like nothing better than to find a nice example in the neighboring states. That said, I am prepared to travel to look at the right bike which is priced reasonably. I'm looking for a fairly original bike, at least in appearance, but do not mind accepted and proven upgrades such as ignition, electrics, brakes, clutch, chain & sprockets. The prices I've seen are in the mid to high teens, so I imagine that those are the going asking and/or sale prices as well. Wish me luck and if you know of a likely candidate, I would be grateful if you email <[email protected]> or PM me.
thanks in advance.
