MHR 900 Very Strange Chassis number

I have an '83 900 MHR with UK.50 clearly stamped in front of usual chassis number,anybody know anything about that? It is stamped at 90 degrees to chassis/homogolation numbers that appear in usual position on frame gusset/plate above/beside left side gear shifter.
PS,Don't ask for photos,I'm a certified Luddite,which is why I ride Bevels and not GSXR's.!!!
